Welcome to our speech blog! Here's a little about me...
I am a native of Pennsylvania where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication disorders at the Pennsylvania State University. I then moved to Georgia where I earned my Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University. I live right around the corner from Acworth with my husband, daughter, and our dog.
I have been a speech-language pathologist at Acworth Elementary for six years. Currently, I serve all of fifth grade and most of fourth grade speech students. There are so many reasons why I love doing what I do, but the best part of being a speech therapist is knowing that I am helping a child communicate and that those skills will help them their whole life.
