Be sure to look for your child's Thursday folder and be sure your child brings it back to school tomorrow. Tonight is the Hot Dog Dinner at school. It looks like lots of people have bought tickets and are planning on attending. Hope to see you tonight.
Tomorrow students will be taking a unit test over Citizenship. They have been bringing home their study guide nightly so I look forward to seeing some wonderful results! We are also having a test over words from Sort 3. Next week we will have a unit test in Math. This test will cover place value, multiplication of 2-3 digit numbers by 2 digit numbers, powers of 10, order of operations, expressions and division.
We had a visit from Judge Hamby today. Be sure to ask your child about the visit.
The kids have worked this week on goal-setting in reading and we are beginning to work on our first formal Opinion writing.
