Week Of September 6-9th

I hope everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend. Below are just a few reminders for the upcoming weeks. 

1. Here is the link to the PE blog, remember tennis shoes are needed on PE days.

2. We will be reviewing place value and continue practice with adding and subtracting within 20

3. Our regions test will be today Wednesday September 7th. We will begin studying for the Rivers and will assess the Rivers next Tuesday.

4. Reminder that homework is due every Friday. The students have glued in the word list to their agenda, and the math problem into their homework journal. 

5. Any money sent in to school needs to be in an envelope with the students first and last name on it.

Behavior Policy

Behavior Chart

In our classroom we are “Fired Up for Good Behavior” and will use a behavior chart that allows your child opportunities to move up and down throughout the day. I believe that one moment in our day should not dictate the entire day, therefor the students can move up the chart if they change undesirable behavior or have exceptional behavior.

Purple - Happy Camper Super Day

Blue- Now You’re Cooking! Great Day

Green- Let’s Go! Ready for Camp (Start on Green Each Day)

Yellow- Going Down The Wrong Path (Warning)

Red- Lost Your Way! (Consequence)

*** Time off of recess will be a consequence and a possible phone call/note home**

We will write the students’ behavior Color in their daily agenda. Please sign each day.

**Students can earn tickets throughout the week as well for a chance at a treat or reward.

** At the end of the month students with no 2 or more blues or purples will earn a reward.
