Poetry Cafe April 30

Come to the Poetry Cafe on April 30!

If your student would like to read a poem they wrote, please have them submitted to the Media Center by Tuesday May 28. If you submit a poem, we expect you to be there on Thursday night to read it to the audience.

We will have refreshments and a musical performance by the chorus.

There will be an open mic portion of the evening also. If parents or children wish to read, they must submit their poems by May 28 for the Open Mic time.

April is National Poetry Month--Celebrate by reading some poems together and creating some poetry together!

 Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Parent Survey is also modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents will be able to complete the survey using their personal computers, smartphones or iPads.  All parents should be encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used to calculate the School Climate Star Rating . However, there is no mandatory participation rate for parents. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.
