Happy December! I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Break! I did. I wanted to remind everyone that this Friday is our big day! We will be leaving campus to see a kid-friendly take on the Nutcracker Ballet. The kids will be eating lunch in the classroom before we leave… so lunch will be about 9:45. We will be having snack when we get back, around 1:45, so you might want to pack a good snack that can sit all day.
I have told the kids that we can dress up for this event! Fancy dresses and shoes for the girls, ties and or jackets for the boys. They certainly don’t have to, but I think it’s fun to dress the part of a theater goer!
Also, tomorrow I will be sending home a packet of pictures/magnets that the company that took the school pictures is offering for purchase. If you like the pictures & magnets then you keep them and send in your money. If you do not want to purchase them, then please return the product. So, every child needs to bring something back, whether it’s money or the magnets.
This Thursday, our class will be going to the PTA holiday shop. We will take a sneak peek on Wed. but can only make a purchase on Thursday. Information went home about this before Thanksgiving. The shop is a cash only business.
Finally, our Christmas Party for the class is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17. It will be after lunch 12:15 – 1:15. Everyone is welcome to attend, but I might put you to work!! I am thinking that the party will have a few crafting stations and a some food. I will be sending home more information, but wanted you to save the date!
